Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, authentication, access, and security policies.
Manage and optimize Microsoft Azure resources, analyzing performance, resource utilization, contention, and capacity requirements.
Administer Azure and AWS infrastructure, including security configurations, access management, deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.
Provide Windows Server administration and troubleshooting, including Windows Server 2016 and newer environments.
Manage DNS, Group Policy, and enterprise Active Directory environments supporting 1,000+ users.
Develop, test, and execute PowerShell scripts for infrastructure monitoring, automation, Active Directory, Azure, and systems administration.
Support application owners and users with appropriate Azure/AWS application access and permissions.
Install, configure, maintain, and support third-party enterprise applications.
Analyze infrastructure issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions with minimal impact to users.
Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, operational processes, and system documentation.
Collaborate with data center and infrastructure teams on resource deployments, upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes.
Research emerging technologies and recommend technical solutions that meet business and functional requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure processes, automation, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
Perform additional systems administration and infrastructure support activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Administration.
5+ years of Windows Server administration experience, including 3+ years with Windows Server 2016 or newer.
3+ years of Microsoft Azure / Cloud administration experience.
1+ year of AWS infrastructure/cloud experience.
5+ years of Active Directory administration, including DNS and Group Policy, in environments supporting 1,000+ users.
Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration and identity/access management.
Hands-on experience developing and executing PowerShell scripts for automation and systems administration.
Experience working in virtualized server and cloud environments.
Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional hands-on experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure and administration.
Experience working on State Government or Public Sector IT projects.
Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) security requirements.
Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) security and compliance requirements.
