Mastery Responsibilities
Senior systems administrator experience and mindset focused on Standards/documentation, enterprise scalability, consistency/automation, compliance requirements, security posture/guidelines, and detailed troubleshooting using a logical process, log analysis, and clear documentation Significant, demonstrable understanding of operating systems (Linux/RHEL and Windows), TCP networking, hypervisors/LXC/Docker (VMware/KVM/Xen/HyperV; containers vs. hypervisors), storage technologies (SAS/NVMe/iSCSI, network filesystems, object storage/S3), and firewall/edge networking/routing Troubleshooting methodology that connects symptoms across systems, services, network paths, and logs to isolate root cause efficiently Critical-thinking mindset to correlate signals, challenge assumptions, and support other teams in resolving complex incidents
