Infrastructure Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database / Systems Administrator to support a large enterprise hosting environment. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on maintaining stable, highly available database and server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.

*This role is Fully Remote*

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments
• Manage database/server provisioning, access, authentication, and authorization
• Perform backups, restores, disaster recovery, upgrades, and system maintenance
• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux server/database issues and handle escalations
• Support a large-scale environment of servers and databases
• Install and configure SQL Server as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of SQL Server database administration and operational support
• 5+ years of Windows and Linux infrastructure administration
• Strong backup/restore, disaster recovery, provisioning, and access management experience
• Experience supporting multiple RDBMS platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL

Nice to Have:

• Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ODI, OID, or Oracle Cloud Control
• Higher education experience, including Ellucian Banner or similar ERP/SIS platforms
