Genesis10 is currently seeking a Test Coordinator - Remote position with a Major Utility Company located in Waukesha, WI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator to lead end-to-end testing activities supporting integration between a modern enterprise GIS platform, an enterprise data warehouse, and downstream analytics applications. This role will be responsible for coordinating testing across GIS platforms, Snowflake data warehouse environments, Foundry data products, data pipelines, analytics applications, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience managing testing programs for complex data integration initiatives, ensuring data integrity, business continuity, and successful deployment of remediated applications and analytics products.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for enterprise GIS modernization and data warehouse integration programs
- Define test plans, scope, test cycles, entry and exit criteria, environments, schedules, and reporting metrics
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Production Validation activities
- Establish testing governance, defect management processes, escalation procedures, and readiness assessments
- Coordinate testing of data integration processes between the new GIS platform and Snowflake data warehouse
- Validate geospatial data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, and consumption processes across enterprise data platforms
- Lead validation efforts for ETL/ELT pipelines impacted by GIS platform upgrades, data model changes, and system modernization activities
- Coordinate testing of analytics products, dashboards, reports, data products, and business intelligence solutions impacted by GIS modernization initiatives
- Establish and manage defect tracking processes across multiple testing workstreams
- Coordinate business stakeholder participation during testing activities and facilitate UAT planning sessions
- Coordinate testing environments, data refresh schedules, release planning, and deployment validation activities
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, Data Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience coordinating testing activities for enterprise application, data warehouse, or analytics programs
- Experience managing System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End Testing (E2E), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, data validation, and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience testing enterprise data warehouses and cloud-based analytics platforms
- Ability to manage multiple testing workstreams simultaneously
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
Desired skills: - Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and cloud analytics environments
- Experience with Palantir Foundry data products, ontologies, and analytics applications
- Experience with Esri ArcGIS, Utility Network, GIS modernization, or geospatial platforms
- Utility industry experience supporting electric, gas, water, or infrastructure organizations
- Experience with data reconciliation, metadata validation, and data governance controls
- Knowledge of spatial data models, geospatial analytics, and location intelligence solutions
- Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar testing and defect management tools
- ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, SAFe, or equivalent certification
Pay range: $56.00 - $66.00 per hour
