Genesis10 is currently seeking a Workday Program Manager - Remote for a contract position with a Major Utility Company. This is a 18+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Program Manager to lead the planning, governance, execution, and coordination of a multi-phase enterprise Workday Transformation Program. The Program Manager will serve as the primary orchestration and governance lead across executives, implementation partners, business stakeholders, functional workstreams, technical teams, and third-party vendors. This individual will be accountable for establishing program governance, managing the integrated master schedule, driving cross-functional execution, overseeing risks and dependencies, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and implementation activities through deployment, stabilization, and operational transition.
Responsibilities: - Lead the overall Workday Transformation Program from mobilization through stabilization, ensuring alignment among business objectives, delivery plans, resources, vendors, and organizational readiness activities
- Establish governance, reporting, decision-management, and program control processes that provide transparency, accountability, and executive visibility
- Develop and maintain an integrated program roadmap, proactively managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints
- Coordinate execution across internal workstreams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors, resolving issues and removing barriers to delivery
- Drive testing, deployment readiness, cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization efforts
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by providing clear recommendations, status reporting, and risk assessments throughout the program lifecycle
- Ensure organizational readiness, successful deployment, stakeholder adoption, and transition to sustainable operational support
Requirements: - 10 or more years of program management experience leading complex enterprise technology transformations
- Direct leadership experience delivering multiple Workday implementations, including HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, integrations, testing, and organizational readiness
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar programs involving executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, implementation partners, and third-party vendors
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security, integrations, data conversion, testing, deployment, and operational transition activities
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
Desired skills: - Experience with Workday Launch Express deployments
- Financials, Projects, Procurement, or Planning implementations
- Benefits carrier integrations, payroll tax services, or post-payroll operations
- Experience in utility, energy, construction, engineering, or professional services organizations
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Workday certifications
Pay range: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour
