Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Workday Finance Business Analysts for an urgent remote engagement supporting a client based in Florida. The ideal candidates will have strong Finance and Accounting knowledge, experience working with Workday Finance, and the ability to bridge business requirements with Workday functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze current finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements.
• Work closely with Workday Finance functional and technical teams.
• Support Workday Finance implementation, enhancement, and production-support activities.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Conduct requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Assist with Workday configuration validation.
• Develop test scenarios, test cases, and expected results.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
• Track defects and coordinate resolution with functional and technical teams.
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
• Support Workday reporting and data requirements.
• Document business processes and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze production issues and coordinate with appropriate teams.
• Support Workday releases and enhancement initiatives.
• Provide project status updates, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in Finance/Accounting.
• Experience working with Workday Finance / Financial Management.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
• Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Experience with SIT/UAT and defect management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.

Education

Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
