Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect

Role Summary
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and compliant SFMC architectures that support client s Financial s B2B and partner marketing strategies. This role bridges marketing, IT, data, and compliance teams to ensure technical excellence and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SFMC solution architecture across Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, and integrated clouds
• Design data models, integrations, and identity resolution strategies aligned with enterprise data platforms (CRM, CDP, data lakes)
• Define technical standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for campaign execution and personalization
• Partner with cybersecurity, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial services regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CCPA)
• Architect API-based and batch integrations with Salesforce CRM, third-party platforms, and internal systems
• Evaluate and recommend SFMC add-ons and third-party tools (Personalization, Intelligence, Datorama, etc.)
• Provide technical leadership during implementations, upgrades, and platform enhancements
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and performance challenges
• Mentor developers and technical marketers on SFMC capabilities and architecture patterns

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in marketing technology or CRM architecture
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, SQL, APIs, and automation frameworks
• Experience designing solutions in highly regulated industries
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect or Consultant certification(s) preferred
