- Lead and mentor a team of mainframe developers in designing, developing, and implementing mainframe applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for solution proposals.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and uphold coding standards within the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in mainframe applications promptly.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe applications with other systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mainframe development.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in mainframe technologies including Cobol, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and CICS.
- Apply proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of mainframe applications.
- Exhibit thorough understanding of the end-to-end mainframe development lifecycle.
- Utilize excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills to effectively lead a technical team.
- Possess (or be willing to obtain) certifications in Mainframe technologies or leadership (preferred but not required).
