Job Title: Technical HR/ Payroll Systems Project Manager
Location: Washington, D.C. (Preferred) / (travel to DC and other USPS locations as required)

**About Us:**
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical HR/ Payroll Systems Project Manager with a focus on driving modernization projects within the HR domain. This role requires a strong leader with extensive project management experience, proven ability to manage multiple projects, and the capability to effectively communicate with both IT and executive stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage a portfolio of HR and payroll systems modernization projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Establish, implement, and manage PMO activities including governance frameworks, change control boards, and reporting mechanisms to track project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including IT project managers and strategic executives to ensure comprehensive project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk management plans, and status reports.
- Conduct regular project meetings to update stakeholders on project status, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Analyze and resolve project-related issues and provide solutions to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring projects adhere to Agile and Scrum methodologies, where applicable.
- Foster a positive team environment and encourage continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, with a focus on managing HR and payroll systems modernization projects.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in PMO activities including governance, change control processes, and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with IT project managers and strategic executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
**Travel Requirements:**
- Must be available to travel to Washington, D.C., and other USPS locations as necessary for project needs.
