Job DescriptionTEKsystems is seeking a highly motivated
Desktop Support Technician for a 6+ month onsite contract in Dodgeville, WI. This role requires a proactive IT professional with strong technical expertise in Microsoft device management and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will provide advanced Level 2-3 support, manage device lifecycle tasks, and deliver outstanding user experiences in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver Level 2-3 support for desktops and mobile devices using remote and onsite solutions.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Microsoft technologies:
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- Microsoft Intune for compliance and lifecycle management
- Windows 11 Pro/Enterprise
- Support MacOS devices in mixed environments.
- Handle hardware setup, repair, and lifecycle tasks for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and conferencing gear.
- Provide expert assistance with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
- Manage asset inventory and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with users at all levels, ensuring clear communication and positive engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and user experience.
eRequired Skills & Experience- 5+ years in help desk or deskside support roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft ecosystem (Azure/Entra, Intune, O365).
- Solid troubleshooting skills for Windows 11 and MacOS.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale device management and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with remote support tools (RDP, TeamViewer, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing environments.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills-able to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership in problem-solving and project execution.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
