EWM Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Developer to support a full lifecycle implementation of Decentralized SAP EWM (Operational). The role involves designing, developing, and enhancing custom solutions in SAP EWM, integrating with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, and supporting warehouse execution processes across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full implementation of Decentralized SAP EWM (OP) from design through go-live.

• Develop and enhance custom ABAP solutions for SAP EWM.

• Design and develop EWM enhancements, including:

  • User Exits / BADIs

  • PPF actions

  • Enhancements for RF, labor management, and warehouse monitoring

• Work on integration between Decentralized EWM and SAP ERP / S/4HANA (IDocs, qRFC, CIF, and Core Interface).

• Support warehouse processes including:

  • Inbound (ASNs, GR, putaway)

  • Outbound (picking, packing, shipping)

  • Internal warehouse processes (replenishment, stock transfer, physical inventory)

• Develop and modify RF Framework screens and logic.

• Support wave management, task management, and resource management.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve EWM-related technical issues.

• Provide post-go-live support and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Developer.

• Proven experience with Decentralized SAP EWM implementations.

• Strong ABAP development skills (ABAP OO, reports, enhancements).

• Experience with EWM-specific development objects:

  • BADIs, User Exits, PPF

  • RF Framework

  • Warehouse Monitor enhancements

• Strong understanding of EWM integration with ERP/S/4HANA.

• Knowledge of IDocs, qRFC, and CIF for EWM communication.

• Experience supporting full-cycle implementations (Blueprint → Go-Live).

• Good understanding of warehouse business processes.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Decentralized EWM.

• Exposure to Automation / MFS (Material Flow System) integration.

• Experience in high-volume or automated warehouses.

• SAP EWM certification.
