We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices using Java, with a strong focus on migrating and building data solutions using Scala and Apache Spark. The role involves developing RESTful APIs, integrating with external systems, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while optimizing applications for performance and scalability. You will build and maintain data pipelines and data processing layers using Java, Scala, and/or Python, leveraging Big Data technologies such as Spark (Scala/PySpark) and SQL. Collaboration with DevOps, QA, and front-end teams is essential to ensure seamless integration, along with debugging and resolving production issues. Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices is expected.
