Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Technician

Position Overview
As an Electrical Commissioning Field Technician, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and performing root
cause analysis on passenger trains. Your role will involve working with modern electrical and electronic systems, diagnosing
and resolving complex electrical circuit issues, and loading software onto PLCs. Additionally, you will oversee various tasks
related to the electrical commissioning of rail cars. In this position, you will ensure that all processes comply with our high quality
standards and that best practices are consistently followed throughout the commissioning phase. Your expertise will
play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and safety of the passenger train systems.
Essential Functions
Commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and modifying of Electric rail cars (EMU's)
Troubleshooting and repair of on-board high voltage systems (25kV)
Troubleshooting of complex electronic and Software systems such as Passenger Information System
Report writing, including weekly performance report, RAMS reporting, etc.
Managing spare parts and company assets
Budget and cost responsibility
Work Experience
Required Experience: 1-5 years
Preferably previous experience in assembly, commissioning and testing of railcars or equivalent complex machinery
Experience in troubleshooting complex electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
Skilled in using modern control- and power systems, vehicle- and brake controls including diagnostic and
maintenance software
Experience in Passenger Rail Software Tools: STO3, Multirec, EVA
Education
Required Degree Level: Vocational
Vocational training and previous experience as an Electrician, Journeyman or related field
