Mid-Level Vehicle Systems Technician
Seeking a technician to support a vehicle systems program focused on documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and general system support. This role emphasizes electrical systems, wire harnesses, and system-level software rather than traditional mechanical repair. Candidates from automotive, aerospace, medical devices, robotics, or similar technical fields are encouraged to apply, and automotive experience is not required.

Scope:
Perform hands-on inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems.
Read, interpret, and troubleshoot wire harnesses, wiring diagrams, schematics, and pinouts.
Use OEM or system-level tools to read diagnostics, logs, and system status and support root cause analysis.
Navigate documentation and database systems to locate procedures and record results.
Support system validation activities and assist with issue resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required:
Technician experience in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, robotics, or similar technical fields (automotive experience not required).
Experience working in a lab or shop environment, including tool and inventory management.
Comfortable working in a team environment; this is not a solo position.
Proficiency with hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
Experience using diagnostic, logging, flashing, or network analysis tools to troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
Ability to read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Pluses:
Experience troubleshooting vehicle or embedded system software.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
Experience with sensors, calibration, or system validation testing.



Estimated Min Rate: $30.00
Estimated Max Rate: $35.00
