Technical Product Owner

Role: Technical Product Owner -W2 Remote

What You ll Do

• Operationalize the TOM: Translate the approved dual leadership model (Core Process Owner + IT Product Owner) into actionable ways of working.
• Design the delivery framework: Define how demand intake, assessment, prioritization, design, delivery, release planning, and sustainment operate jointly between business and IT.
• Build the operational playbook: Codify governance routines, decisionmaking criteria, escalation paths, RACI, meeting cadences, backlog/change request workflows, stakeholder comms, and templates.
• Define metrics & maturity: Establish value realization KPIs (financial/operational), process stability/adoption measures, backlog health/velocity, satisfaction, and responsiveness; create dashboards/scorecards and a maturity model for continuous improvement.
• Enablement & knowledge transfer: Run workshops with Process & Product Owners, deliver training/orientation, and support change management for the new operating model.
• Coach POs: Mentor 5 6 Technical Product Owners across Oracle domains to define success measures, roadmap scope (functional/technical), and where configuration vs. enhancement is needed.

What You ll Deliver (Core Outputs)

• Delivery Framework aligned to TOM (governance, lifecycle, change mgmt, approval workflows, tools, reporting).
• Operational Playbook (roles & RACI, cadences, workflows, comms, templates, reporting).
• Metrics & Maturity Dashboard Framework (KPIs, success measures, scorecards).
• Enablement Workshops and training artifacts for Process & IT Product Owners.
• Executive Summary Deck (framework, recommendations, implementation roadmap).

Required Qualifications

• Built & operationalized process/product owner operating models in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven sustainment design experience postERP/digital transformation (Oracle Cloud or SAP strongly preferred).
• Hands-on creation of sustainment playbooks/frameworks and ability to operationalize them.
• Oracle Cloud experience: Able to define functional/technical roadmaps, coach POs on success metrics, determine where configuration vs. enhancement is needed (ERP/HCM/SCM/FSM/MDM domains a plus).
• Strong background in IT governance, portfolio mgmt., change/release mgmt., and business process ownership.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, documentation; can coach senior business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in industrial services, construction, or life safety.
• Exposure to UKG and Passport sustainment.
• Prior experience with multiOpCo roll-ins and harmonization.
• Familiarity with enterprise PMO practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow/Jira/ADO).
