Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Spring Boot)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Angular/Spring Boot) in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitation & Documentation: Facilitate Architecture Review Board meetings, ensuring detailed capture of meeting notes and action items
* Workflow Management: Oversee and continuously improve the intake and approval workflows of architecture decision records (currently in Confluence and Jira)
* Documentation Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive documentation strategy covering standards, architecture, technical design, and related documentation
* Content Creation: Create and continuously update documentation for existing technical capabilities
* Automation Development: Design, develop, and enhance automation solutions aimed at streamlining architecture intake and approvals; This includes building Angular & Spring Boot apps that integrate with CMDB, our current Developer Experience portal, and other tools
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, translating technical insights into clear and understandable concepts for diverse stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in full-stack development with Angular and Spring Boot
* Experience with Jira and Confluence for managing workflows and documentation; Experience using advanced diagramming tools such as PlantUML, Mermaid and architecture modeling tools such as Archimate, LeanIX, Orbus is a plus
* Foundational understanding of architecture governance and documentation practices
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
* Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation and establish documentation standards
* Bonus: Prior experience as a Solutions Architect or in roles focusing on technical documentation for customers is an advantage

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
