Junior Linux / Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ
Onsite: 5 days a week in a data center environment

This is a hands-on role for an early-career engineer who wants real infrastructure experience, not a ticket-closing desk job. You’ll be working alongside senior engineers in a live data center environment, learning how systems and networks actually run at scale.

If you come from either a Linux or networking background and want to deepen your skills, this role is very much in your wheelhouse.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting and maintaining Linux systems in a production data center

• Assisting with server builds, deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Working closely with senior Linux and network engineers on day-to-day operations

• Monitoring system performance, capacity, and availability

• Learning how enterprise infrastructure really works, from rack to OS to network

What We’re Looking For

• Less than 5 years of experience in Linux engineering, systems administration, or networking

• Hands-on experience with Linux (any major distro is fine)

• OR foundational networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, etc.)

• Strong interest in infrastructure, systems, and data center environments

• Comfortable being onsite 5 days a week in Princeton, NJ

• Curious, reliable, and eager to learn from people who know their stuff

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Basic scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)

• Exposure to hardware, virtualization, or storage

• Any data center, NOC, or lab environment experience
