Snowflake Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Snowflake Developer in Westlake, TX.

Key Tasks:
* Crafting, building and supporting mission critical reporting solutions to deliver the best customer experience
* Exploring new technology trends and using them to simplify and modernize our reporting ecosystem
* Driving Innovation and influencing the team to implement solutions with future thinking
* Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technology solutions for the business needs
* Guiding teams to improve development agility and productivity
* Resolving technical roadblocks to the team and mitigating potential risks
* Delivering system automation by setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines
* Acting as a technical mentor to the team and bringing them up to speed on the latest data technologies and promoting continuous learning

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required
* 8+ years of experience in implementing data solutions in a Warehouse environment is required
* Experience in Power BI
* Experience in Snowflake
* Experience in AWS
* Experience in Java API development
* Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
* Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum)
* Experience with Postgres preferred
* Understanding of financial services a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
