OverviewA large healthcare organization is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support network inventory management, equipment lifecycle tasks, and light hands-on network work across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain network inventory, including physical shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment.
- Enter and update asset information accurately within ServiceNow.
- Support cleanup efforts following network refreshes or equipment installations in network closets.
- Assist with basic installation, maintenance, and support of local and wide area network infrastructure.
- Help ensure reliable, secure, high-performance data, voice, and video communications across the environment.
- Follow established cabling, labeling, and physical infrastructure standards.
- Operate a company vehicle as needed (valid driver's license required).
Top Skills- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Experience entering and managing data in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Comfort working in network closets and assisting with post-installation cleanup.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, fast-moving team.
Nice to Have- Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
- Exposure to enterprise networking environments or IT infrastructure teams.
Required Technical Knowledge- Basic understanding of switching, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and physical cabling standards/practices.
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware/software configuration.
- Ability to follow technical procedures and assist with troubleshooting under guidance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $44.00/hr.
