Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Austin, TX ( Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, including Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustainment, and external partners.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, policies, and user needs to align technology solutions with overall business strategies.
• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation, translating complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Perform advanced data analysis, including analysis of raw and operational data, to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for system and process improvement.
• Assess and document current-state and future-state business processes, utilizing industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering techniques.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend technology-enabled solutions to improve interoperability, referral quality, and operational efficiency across multiple "front door" systems.
• Prepare solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses, including cost/benefit, ROI, and buy/build recommendations.
• Develop detailed documentation, including business cases, planning documents, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support the automation or enhancement of IT systems that improve service delivery and business operations.
• Provide analytical leadership and independent judgment in planning and executing complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Support project planning and execution activities, including timeline coordination, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure solutions comply with government regulations, policies, and standards, with a strong preference for public-sector best practices.
• Deliver clear, effective verbal and written communication, including presentations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-through, ensuring stakeholder needs are met through implementation and beyond.

Required skills:

• 8+ years of Skilled in eliciting business and technical requirements
• 8+ years of Skilled in communicating complex design and technical issues, as well as writing business cases and planning documents
• 8+ years of Skilled in effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• 8+ years of Skilled in gathering input, formulating a plan, and carrying it to fruition
• 8+ years of Skilled in providing exceptional follow-through and customer-service

Preferred Skills:

• 1+ years of Experience with government regulations and processes
