Role : Android / iOS Developer Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)- ex cap1 is preferred

Overview

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer (Android and/or iOS) to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile apps. You ll partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver secure, performant, user-friendly experiences across mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features on a regular release cadence.
• Integrate APIs and external data sources; ensure reliable data handling and app performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing functionality; participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.

Required qualifications

• Strong mobile development experience: Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Experience with mobile app architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and collaborating in Agile teams.

Preferred skills

• Testing and quality practices: unit/integration testing and CI for stable releases.
• Android: Android Studio, Android SDK, lifecycle components; iOS: key iOS frameworks and App Store readiness.
• Experience building secure apps (authentication, secure storage, privacy-minded implementation)
