Role: Senior Databricks Lead

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid 3 to 4 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12 Months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Databricks Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in building robust batch and real-time data pipelines while leading data engineering initiatives across the organization.

Design, build, and support highly available, scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
Develop fault-tolerant, self-healing, and adaptive data processing solutions
Lead and provide technical guidance for data engineering initiatives and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance across distributed systems

Required Technical Skills

Strong to expert-level experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) on Databricks
Hands-on experience developing data pipelines and ingestion patterns in Azure
Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Airflow
Strong SQL expertise
Experience with denormalized data modeling for large-scale/big data systems
