Senior ERP Instructional Designer / Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ERP Instructional Designer/Developer to design, develop, && deliver engaging training solutions for a major ERP implementation initiative.
This role will focus primarily on developing interactive WalkMe content for general ERP users, && targeted SAP EnableNow content for high-risk, high-priority HR roles whose day-to-day responsibilities are changing significantly.
SAP EnableNow will be leveraged for HR professionals in conjunction && Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT) to ensure deep understanding of new processes.
WalkMe will be used to provide on-demand, in-application guidance for non-HR employees to support task completion && drive user adoption.

Required Skills

Proven ability to design && develop engaging, effective training curricula that enhance knowledge retention and user adoption
3+ years of experience supporting major ERP systems
Minimum of 2 years of experience working && SAP modules
MUST HAVE: Hands-on expertise && WalkMe (Smart Walk-Thrus, Launchers, ShoutOuts, SmartTips)
Working knowledge of SAP EnableNow development
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, && Excel
Strong understanding of Instructional Design Theory, ADDIE methodology, && Adult Learning Principles
Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education && professional experience
Excellent attention to detail && strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently && collaboratively in fast-paced environments
Strong written && verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor && a customer-service mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities && meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to travel nationally on a weekly basis, if required

Preferred Skills

SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
Professional services or Big 4 consulting background
Classroom && instructor-led training delivery experience
Core Responsibilities
Design && develop WalkMe interactive guidance to support ERP task execution && improve adoption for non-HR users
Create SAP EnableNow simulations, guided tours, && e-learning modules for high- impact HR roles
Integrate EnableNow content with ILT && WBT programs
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) && internal training leads to assess needs && define learning objectives
Design, write, && edit instructor-led training materials && e-learning storyboards
Conduct training needs assessments && develop measurable learning objectives
Interview SMEs && stakeholders to gather content for blended learning solutions
Develop knowledge checks, assessments, && course evaluations
Participate in content reviews, revisions, && approval cycles
Support Train-the-Trainer activities and potential future training delivery
Provide ERP application knowledge && instructional methodology expertise
Build strong client relationships through high-quality delivery && responsiveness
Manage project status reporting, issue identification, && resolution
