Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP Instructional Designer && Training Lead to design, develop, && lead customized, role-based training programs supporting a client implementation of SAP HCM
EC and ECP. This role will partner closely with the internal Training Lead to provide strategic oversight, instructional design expertise, && hands-on development of training content.
The primary focus of this role is WalkMe digital adoption, with supplemental content developed in SAP EnableNow. The ideal candidate blends strong SAP knowledge, instructional design best practices, && the ability to drive user adoption through engaging, learner-centered training strategies.

Core Responsibilities

Lead the design, planning, && development of SAP training programs in collaboration && the internal Training Lead
Design && implement role-based blended learning solutions using Adult Learning Principles && best-practice delivery techniques
Build interactive WalkMe content && guide users through SAP processes and improve system adoption
Develop supplemental learning assets in SAP EnableNow, including simulations, guided tours, && eLearning modules
Conduct training needs assessments && define course objectives based on findings
Plan, design, develop, write, && edit instructor-led training materials && eLearning storyboards (ILT, WBT, CBT)
Partner with Subject Matter Experts && stakeholders to gather requirements for blended learning solutions
Develop evaluation tools such as knowledge checks, assessments, && course evaluations
Participate in content review, revision, && formal sign-off cycles
Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions (with potential to support direct delivery in later phases)
Build && maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality training solutions
Manage timelines, deliverables, && project reporting, including proactive issue identification && resolution

Required Qualifications

Proven ability && design engaging, effective training programs that drive user adoption && performance
3+ years of experience working with major ERP systems
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience && SAP modules
Strong expertise in WalkMe content creation (Smart Walk-Thrus, Launchers, ShoutOuts, SmartTips)
Working knowledge && SAP EnableNow
Solid understanding && instructional design theory, ADDIE, and Adult Learning Principles && Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education && professional experience
Excellent attention to detail && strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities && meet tight deadlines
Professional demeanor with a consultative client-facing approach

Preferred Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA && project experience
Background in professional services && Big 4 consulting environments
Classroom && instructor-led training delivery experience
Change management && user adoption strategy experience
