Mandatory Qualifications:
1. Technical Background:
Comprehensive understanding of network architecture, including the design and implementation of secure communication channels such as VPNs.
Comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security including but not limited to Proofpoint and MFA.
Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, including aspects of networking, virtualization, and storage.
Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco Systems, VMware, NetApp, and Nutanix.
Familiarity in IP management and the ability to handle IP scope changes for campuses.
Experience in managing server migrations, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting.
Ability to document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures to ensure efficient management of IT infrastructure.
2. Project Management:
High proficiency in using M365 applications, including Project, Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and especially Excel.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and designs.
Experience in developing and composing project plans for implementing network infrastructure gear and configurations university wide.
Experience working with 20-50 stakeholders in one project.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with university stakeholders, including unit staff, subject matter experts, technical staff, administrators, faculty, and students.
Outstanding communication skills to facilitate group discussions, articulate client needs, and lead presentations to diverse groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
