Description
We are looking for an experienced Search Engine Optimizer/Marketer with expertise in AI search platforms to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This long-term contract position focuses on enhancing brand visibility and optimizing content for advanced AI-driven search engines and platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, technical audits, and AI-ready content strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility across AI search platforms and large language models (LLMs).
Conduct comprehensive audits of site architecture, metadata, schema, and content structure to ensure optimal performance.
Optimize internal linking, metadata, and content formatting for effective AI retrieval and search indexing.
Create detailed content outlines and briefs tailored for AI compatibility, or contribute directly to the development of AI-ready content.
Identify opportunities within AI-driven prompt spaces and address gaps to improve answer relevance.
Construct detailed roadmaps that align with organizational goals and enhance search engine rankings.
Audit existing content to boost AI citation and overall search visibility.
Support backlink strategies and enhance domain authority with a focus on AI-driven optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine marketing strategies and integrate advanced AI tools into workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and AI-enhanced search engine marketing (SEM).
Strong expertise in technical audits, including site architecture, schema, metadata, and content optimization.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, such as SEMrush and Marketo.
Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and email campaign management.
Solid understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in search engine optimization.
Ability to create detailed strategies and roadmaps to achieve business objectives.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in search visibility.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
