Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced SDE Automation professional to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This role involves designing and implementing communication components, applications, and services, as well as collaborating with various engineering and business teams to develop and maintain automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, automation, and AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement communication components, applications, and services.
- Collaborate with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams.
- Design components, services, and relevant data models.
- Work with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Trade stakeholders to gather testing requirements and translate them into testing automation.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand new features, implement automated testing, and maintain existing testing automation.
- Develop and deploy critical e-Commerce automation software for Kuiper.
- Build e-Commerce functions on AWS infrastructure and implement best practices for software development.
- Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for system health monitoring.
- Assist engineers in building solutions for provisioning and operating Internet service providers.
Qualifications: - 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems.
- Experience with Java-based SDKs, AWS-based development, API design, and JSON.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright for implementing both UI and API automation.
- Ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
- Strong AWS Cloud native skills and familiarity with AWS tooling.
- Ability to utilize AI to enhance development speed and delivery while maintaining high-quality code and logging.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AWS components, specifically DynamoDB, Step Functions, and services hosted on ECS.
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Pay Range: $68 - $72
