We are looking for Network Monitoring Technician for our client in Hopewell Junction, NY

Job Title: Network Monitoring Technician

Job Location: Hopewell Junction, NY

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $21hr - $26hr

This position is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and operating complex computer systems, networks, applications, and/or distributed systems in a multi-vendor environment.
They are also responsible for analyzing first and second-level problems for all systems (according to the service agreements), resolving and routing as appropriate, supporting the Systems Management Processes specific to the 300mm client requirements.
The role would require the person to be highly skilled in Linux, Windows, and Unix Server Operations and have some application knowledge.
Role would require Level 2 problem determination skills for server and applications, knowledge of hardware installs, rack installs, operating system install knowledge, and FAB application knowledge.

Special Skill Requirements:

Linux, Unix, Windows, Monitoring Software, Ticket management; hands-on server operations skills and support required.
A person should have some skills comparable to assisting a Systems Administrator.
