Role Importance
The Program Manager is the single accountable leader for delivering IT Delivery and Operations Support Services that enable national law-enforcement training mission. This role is responsible for ensuring service continuity, performance excellence, cost control, and continuous improvement across a complex, multi-site federal IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of accountability for all contract performance, delivery, and outcomes.
- Lead execution of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) ensuring all service areas meet or exceed SLAs.
- Direct and integrate all technical teams (network, systems, service desk, endpoint, database, security) into a cohesive, mission-focused delivery model.
- Manage Transition-In activities to achieve a seamless takeover within the required 60-day period, with no degradation in service.
- Oversee ITIL-aligned service management processes, SLA monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Provide cost, schedule, performance, and risk transparency through accurate, actionable reporting
- Lead Continual Service Improvement Plan (CSIP) development and execution, driving measurable improvements in service quality, efficiency, and user experience.
- Manage subcontractors, staffing plans, surge support activation, and bench strength to support fluctuating training demands.
- Serve as the primary interface with the Government for planning, issue resolution, and strategic IT modernization discussions.
