Network Engineer

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in implementing DDoS mitigation strategies and configuring ACLs in a large enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, military experience, education.
• 3+ years of experience with configuration of routing and switching latest platforms and solutions - Cisco Nexus and/or Arista product line.

Desired Skills & Experience

• CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter.
• Arista AI and/or Arista Automation experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering and/or 3+ Years of Networking Experience
• Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
• Experience working in a Product/Agile environment utilizing Atlassian Jira products.
• Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional
• Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
• Experience preferred with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GITHUB
• Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.
• Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues.
• Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Participate in the coordination, installation, support, and maintenance of network infrastructure with a focus on enterprise network, supporting our Data Center exits into a new Data Center operating model.
• Provide technical support to end users via troubleshooting skills across both network and system applications.
• Integrate, consolidate & maintain network services across but not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices.
• Coordinate, design, implement and validate in accordance with our latest architectural design standards, implementation, and validation through best practices.
• Internet designs and or migrations must be executed during business approved change green-zones, (non-business hours).
