Title: Workday HRIS Analyst
Location : New Jersey
Target Start Date : ASAP
Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $40-55/hr
Our client is looking for a high-impact Workday HRIS Analyst to join their project team during a large-scale, global Workday implementation. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of our internal HR team and our System Integration (SI) partner.
You will be responsible for ensuring the system is built to scale, assisting with heavy configuration work, and managing the rigorous testing cycles required for a successful "Go-Live. " This role requires a "builder " mindset and the ability to pivot quickly as project requirements evolve.
Key Implementation Responsibilities - SI Partner Liaison: Work daily with the SI partner to review design documents (Workbooks), validate configuration, and ensure the build aligns with our global process design.
- End-to-End Configuration: Lead hands-on configuration for HCM Core, including Business Process (BP) mapping, organization structures, and security role assignments.
- Testing & QA: Take a lead role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing. This includes writing test scripts, identifying defects, and working with the SI to resolve them.
- Data Conversion & Cleanup: Support the Data Lead in mapping legacy data into Workday. Perform rigorous data audits and "mock " upload validations to ensure 100% data integrity at Go-Live.
- Reporting Strategy: Develop a suite of "Day 1 " reports and dashboards to ensure leadership has immediate visibility into the workforce post-launch.
- Change Management Support: Assist in the creation of job aids and technical documentation to support the transition from legacy systems to Workday.
Qualifications - Workday Experience: 3-5 years of HRIS experience. Must have participated in at least one full-lifecycle Workday implementation or a significant phase expansion.
- HCM Certified or Workday Certifications a plus
