About the SAP Project Manager Role
Our long-time client is an innovative company developing technology that enhances the lives of patients worldwide. We are seeking two Senior SAP Project Managers to lead a track within a global, multi-year Oracle-to-SAP S/4HANA migration that will be kicking off soon. This role requires deep SAP implementation expertise, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills. You will partner closely with the SAP Program Manager, business leaders, and the SAP Systems Integrator.
This SAP implementation project manager position requires proven experience managing full lifecycle SAP module implementations and strong stakeholder management skills in a complex, multi-vendor environment.

Key Responsibilities: SAP Project Management
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA transformation across one or more modules, including but not limited to finance (FICO), supply chain (SCM), materials management (MM), and HCM modules
Manage end-to-end project scope, change control, risk management, and issue resolution
Coordinate with SAP system integrator partners and cross-functional project teams
Apply hybrid project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) with SAP Activate methodology
Execute tollgate reviews, stakeholder communication plans, and risk management frameworks
Maintain project KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards using MS Project, Smartsheet, or JIRA
Ensure adherence to PMO standards for documentation, reporting, and performance tracking
Support demand management, resource planning, and portfolio reporting
Lead cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and change management specialists
Drive organizational change management to support SAP adoption and minimize business disruption
Facilitate regular project status meetings and executive-level presentations
Navigate diverse team dynamics with diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills
Must-Have Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7-10 years IT project management experience with at least 3 years leading ERP implementations
Proven experience leading at least one full lifecycle implementation (planning through go-live) of at least one major SAP module (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, HR/HCM, SCM, or PP)
Project Management experience on a large-scale, global transformation program (not just integration projects)
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules (SAP Activate methodology a plus)
Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or Confluence
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Exceptional presentation and executive communication skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
Empathy and diplomatic communication style
