This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role supporting mission-critical systems and major modernization efforts.

What You'll Do Manage and maintain enterprise SAN storage platforms (Pure, IBM, Dell, NetApp) to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.
Oversee and support SAN connectivity to mainframe environments, solving integration issues and improving efficiency.
Administer and optimize VMware virtualized environments and Windows servers.
Perform essential Active Directory administration, including group policy, user management, and directory security.
Lead system upgrade cycles, patch deployments, and troubleshooting efforts with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Produce clean, detailed documentation to support ongoing system improvements and rewrite initiatives.
Work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment on projects and operational priorities.
Participate in an on-call rotation for nightly and weekend patching and upgrade activities.
What You BringRequired: 10+ years of hands-on experience with:- SAN Storage administration (Pure, IBM, Dell, NetApp)
- SAN-to-mainframe connectivity
- VMware environment management
- Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Scripting, automation tools, and system management utilities
- Enterprise patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and quickly learn new systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Preferred (Nice to Have): VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) SAN vendor certifications PowerShell or other automation scripting experienceWork Environment Hybrid schedule - currently 1 day onsite per week

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
