RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Stamford, CT that is seeking a Senior Project Manager responsible for managing end-to-end integration initiatives from early requirements and working sessions through development coordination and operational readiness for key milestones such as Day 1, Day 90, and beyond. This role ensures all required readiness activities-including testing, training, communications, and coordination across functions-are fully planned, tracked, and executed to support successful integrations. This is a highly visible role requiring strong execution discipline, comfort working with senior leadership, and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
* Manage integration initiatives from requirements gathering through development coordination and operational readiness
* Own and maintain detailed project plans with dependencies, milestones, and deliverables
* Ensure readiness activities across impacted teams, including testing, training, communications, and support functions
* Lead cross-functional working sessions to drive alignment and execution across teams
* Identify, document, and track RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) through resolution
* Prepare and deliver clear project status updates to senior leadership via email and executive-level PowerPoint presentations
* Maintain project status reports, timelines, and action items with a high level of accuracy and consistency
* Facilitate internal alignment meetings to ensure teams remain focused on priorities and commitments
* Proactively surface risks and gaps and drive mitigation plans without requiring constant leadership direction

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7+ years of experience as a Project Manager supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives
* Proven experience managing projects from planning through operational readiness
* Strong ability to create and manage detailed project plans with dependencies and milestones
* Demonstrated experience communicating with senior leadership through concise emails and executive presentations
* Strong experience identifying, managing, and tracking RAID items to closure
* Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently with limited leadership oversight
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting large-scale integrations, mergers, or transformation initiatives
* PMO background or experience working in a structured governance environment
* Strong PowerPoint and executive storytelling skills
* Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
