Principle Product Designer

Title - Principle Product Owner

Location - 100% remote

Payrate - $85/hour on W2

The Principal Product Owner is a senior product leader responsible for defining product vision, driving strategic initiatives, and maximizing business value across one or more complex product portfolios. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, engineering, design, and business teams to translate customer and business needs into clear product roadmaps and prioritized backlogs. The Principal Product Owner acts as a mentor to other product owners and ensures best practices in agile product management are consistently applied.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and communicate the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap

• Translate business objectives and customer needs into well-defined product requirements

• Lead backlog prioritization to maximize value and align with strategic goals

• Collaborate with engineering, design, UX, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

• Act as the primary decision-maker on scope, trade-offs, and release planning

• Analyze market trends, user feedback, and data to inform product decisions

• Mentor and guide product owners and cross-functional teams

• Ensure alignment across multiple teams and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in complex environments

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

• Experience driving products from concept through delivery

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale or enterprise products

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Leadership and change management experience
