Locations: Fort Mill, SC (Fully Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

F2F Interview Highly Preferred for Local Candidates

Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 5 Days every week. Local or candidates from adjacent states only.

Client Call Notes:

• Should be very hands-on automation engineer
• Strong experience in Web Automation using Java/ Selenium
• API automation (Rest Assured)
• SQL development (Very good)
• GitHub Copilot usage (Highly desired)
• Investment Banking domain exposure (Highly desired)

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development testing with at least 6 years in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java for test automation development.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Solid understanding of functional testing principles and best practices.
• API testing skills RESTSOAP using Postman RestAssured.
• Proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL for database validations.
• Experience in building automation frameworks and maintaining and enhancing it.
• Experienced in managing Git based version control workflows including feature branching rebasing and pull merge request strategies.
• Proficient in resolving complex merge conflicts across multimodule automation frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with teams to identify analyze and fix merge related issues early in the development cycle.
• Ensure automation test suites remain stable and up to date during frequent code merges and sprint releases.
• Actively involved in reviewing merging and validating code changes to ensure testability stability and adherence to coding standards.
• Implement pre-merge checks including build verification and automated test validations to maintain repository health.
• Hands-on experience with Git tools such as GitHub and command line Git operations.
• Support release and hotfix branches ensuring proper conflict resolution and regression coverage before production deployment.

Good To Have:

• Experience in Investment Banking Asset or Wealth Management domain.
• Experience in cloud-based testing AWS.
• Knowledge of version control systems Git.
• Proficiency with GitHub Copilot leveraging effective prompts to generate optimize and maintain high quality automated tests.
• Hands on experience with GitHub Actions for designing implementing and managing CI/CD automation workflows.
