Job Description:
The SAP FICO-FA an d RE-FX Team Member will be focused on implementation and support activities of the S4 Hana system. The SAP Team Member requires and in-depth knowledge of US accounting business processes specifically in the areas of Fixed Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting and the following FICO module configuration experience including but limited to:
Must be knowledgeable of the following General Ledger/ Controlling configuration and business scenarios
o Asset Master, Asset Classes
o Charts of Depreciation (US and EU knowledge preferred), Depreciation Keys including (MACRS, ACRS, Bonus Depreciation, etc.)
o Leading/Parallel Ledger configuration
o Account Determination
o Foreign Currency/ parallel valuation
o Intercompany entries
o Financial Statement Version Configuration for Fixed Asset
o Understand alternative Fiscal Years (4-4-5)
o Period End configuration: reclassification, carry forward configuration
o Knowledge of Integration with Project systems, RE-FX
o Knowledge of LIFO/ FIFO terminology
o RE-FX for master data, valuation rules, cash flow management, and IFRS 16/ASC 842 compliance
o Experience with real estate contract management, billing, and property lifecycle management.
o Preference given to resources with experience implementing SAP for ASIA countries
Additional Tasks/Responsibilities:
o Provide functional direction/management to the project team s offshore and junior resources. Manage work stream s team deliverables to the project schedule
o Possesses the ability to organize activities, set priorities, handle multiple tasks, make or guide client to a decision/ resolution
o Interface with functional BPOs to define the business processes and requirements that will be enabled by SAP and may be required for Functional specification documents.
o The ability to work in a fast-paced team atmosphere and to work with client personnel at various levels effectively is critical. Supports and helps develop power users in the business
o Supports needed audit and compliance efforts
o Supports SAP upgrades and testing of S4 1909 to 2020
o Identify critical issues, scope changes, opportunities and escalates to program management as appropriate.
o Works with cross-functional groups in the program to identify and develop solutions to business issues and opportunities in their area of expertise.
o Defines functional / technical requirements for change requests and interfaces with the development team for completion
o Supports the development of training materials and documentation, as well as provides Train the trainer- sessions as required
o Participates in the process integration and user acceptance testing (to include positive and negative security role testing). Must be able to write Integration test scripts
o Effectively manages and resolves defects.
