Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing HR data processes, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and integration across multiple platforms. As this is a long-term contract position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to both project-based initiatives and ongoing operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
Lead the extraction, cleansing, and validation of HR data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Oversee the preparation and transformation of data for successful integration into new platforms.
Develop and maintain frameworks for data migration, ensuring repeatable and efficient processes.
Act as the primary expert for system data integrity and stability across various platforms.
Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility.
Conduct regular audits to maintain data quality and reliability.
Provide technical support for HR technology systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
Design and implement strategies for database performance tuning and optimization.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance system capabilities
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Database.
Hands-on experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL.
Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex data migration projects.
Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in data validation and cleansing.
Experience working with HR technology systems like Taleo and Phenom.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of database security and integrity protocols.
