Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect

Location: Hartford, Connecticut

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of large-scale Salesforce implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development expertise, enterprise integration experience, and proven leadership in architecting scalable, secure Salesforce solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
5+ years leading enterprise Salesforce implementations (300+ users)
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, and other third-party applications
At least one complex data migration into Salesforce (ETL experience)
Participation in all phases of the Salesforce implementation lifecycle
Strong understanding of CRM business processes and global delivery models
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
Strong technical foundation including:
Apex, Force.com
.NET, Java (integration context)
Relational database concepts
System analysis and design methodologies
Strong knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and enterprise integration patterns
Experience defining Salesforce environment strategy and DevOps processes
Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices

Roles & Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce programs, including:
Data migrations & data quality
Systems integrations
Third-party applications & AppExchange products
Custom Salesforce development
Provide technical leadership by:
Coaching and mentoring teams
Establishing best practices for development, integration, testing, and deployment
Define, manage, and communicate release and change management processes
Assess Salesforce architecture and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions
Design and document technical architecture across multiple platforms with authentication and integrations
Lead CI/CD and release management activities
Identify and manage technical risks and issues
Propose and articulate architecture and design options, including pros and cons

Soft Skills:

Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills
Ability to plan and schedule technical deliverables
Act as the primary point of contact for technical issue resolution
Provide leadership to ensure high product quality
Strong presentation skills to communicate architecture and solutions to senior leadership
