HashiCorp Nomad OSS Engineer

We are seeking a skilled HashiCorp Nomad OSS Engineer to design, deploy, and operate a scalable orchestration platform across multiple sites. This role focuses on integrating Nomad with existing task planning and tracking systems and automating task completion detection to enable efficient, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage highly available HashiCorp Nomad OSS clusters across multiple environments

• Ensure platform scalability, fault tolerance, and performance

• Integrate Nomad with task planning and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, or custom systems)

• Build automation for task completion detection to reduce manual processes

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Nomad clusters

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application orchestration

• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams

• Create clear documentation and provide internal training on Nomad best practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with HashiCorp Nomad OSS deployment and operations

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)

• Proficiency with container technologies (Docker; Kubernetes experience a plus)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Scripting or programming experience (Python, Go, Bash)

• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems
