Title: Regional Sales Director
We are seeking a high-performing Technology Sales Hunter with proven expertise in selling software services and AI-powered solutions into the BFSI industry, including banks, financial institutions, and mortgage-driven organizations. This role will drive aggressive revenue growth by acquiring new logos, expanding into key accounts, and positioning transformative tech and AI solutions that solve both core BFSI and mortgage-specific challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities
New Business Development (Hunter Focus)
Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients across BFSI (Banking + Financial Institutions) and Mortgage businesses for software and AI-driven services.
Build and own a high-velocity sales pipeline using industry networks, cold outreach, targeted prospecting, and executive engagement.
Develop tailored account-penetration strategies to expand market share with a strong focus on regulated BFSI and mortgage lending ecosystems.
Solution & AI-Value Selling
Consult with BFSI and mortgage clients to understand digital transformation, compliance, lending bottlenecks, fraud risk, and automation needs.
Partner with technical and AI teams to design and propose custom AI solutions such as:
- Predictive analytics for lending/mortgage underwriting
- Fraud and risk detection models
- Intelligent automation & decision engines
- AI-led customer engagement and workflow acceleration
Translate complex AI capabilities into business value for BFSI + Mortgage stakeholders, aligning to revenue, risk, and regulatory outcomes.
Industry & Mortgage Domain Expertise
Stay updated on BFSI trends, mortgage lending frameworks, ITIN/Non-QM ecosystem needs, digital banking, and AI regulatory considerations.
Represent the company in industry forums, mortgage networks, and BFSI events, positioning us as a technology and AI thought leader.
Spot opportunities to cross-sell and upsell, especially within lending, mobile architecture, and AI-enhanced transformation themes.
Sales Cycle & RFP/RFP Ownership
Lead the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting → solution pitch → RFP/RFP ownership → negotiation → closure.
Coordinate accurate and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP/RFP) responses with internal SMEs, architecture, and delivery teams.
Ensure successful hand-off to delivery while continuing client engagement to accelerate mortgage and BFSI solution adoption.
Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets through disciplined pipeline and forecasting management.
Collaboration & Sales Reporting
Work closely with marketing on GTM campaigns targeting BFSI and mortgage verticals with AI-centric messaging.
Use Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for lead management, activity tracking, forecasting, and dashboards.
Report on performance metrics, mortgage/BFSI market insights, and stakeholder feedback to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of technology and software services sales experience, with direct enterprise success in:
- BFSI (banks and financial institutions)
- Mortgage and lending-driven organizations
Strong understanding of BFSI regulations, lending challenges, mortgage underwriting economics, and risk frameworks.
Demonstrated success in new-logo acquisition (Hunter mindset) and consultative solution selling.
Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and cross-functional sales orchestration.
