Oracle Data Modeler (Erwin)

Summary:
Seeking an Oracle Data Modeler with strong hands-on experience in Erwin Data Modeler and Oracle databases. The role involves building conceptual, logical, and physical data models, generating and optimizing DDL, and supporting both operational and analytical data environments. The candidate will work closely with architects, DBAs, and business teams to ensure models follow enterprise standards and governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design/maintain conceptual, logical & physical data models using Erwin
Generate & optimize DDL scripts (tables, indexes, views, partitions, constraints)
Perform forward/reverse engineering for Oracle & SQL Server
Support dimensional modeling (star/snowflake) for analytics
Ensure data integrity, normalization (3NF/BCNF), and modeling standards
Conduct model reviews, impact analysis, and version control
Participate in data governance, metadata, and lineage documentation
Support schema migrations, comparisons, and environment sync
Optimize existing data models and participate in design reviews

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of enterprise-level data modeling
Expert in Erwin Data Modeler (9.x+)
Strong SQL & deep Oracle knowledge (11g 21c)
Strong DDL skills & understanding of database internals
Experience with normalization, denormalization, SCDs; Data Vault a plus
Familiarity with Git/version control
Good communication & teamwork skills
Hadoop/MongoDB experience is a plus
