Systems Support Specialist to support our telecom and media industry client in
Town and Country, MO. We are actively scheduling interviews and encourage qualified candidates to apply promptly.
Compensation & Schedule- Pay Rate: $30/hr
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half when applicable
- Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM CST
- (Temporary schedule; subject to change)

Top Requirements- General familiarity with technology concepts
- Cloud, servers, and related fundamentals

Plusses- Experience with incident management or outage management
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with monitoring tools
- BigPanda is used internally, but experience with any monitoring suite is acceptable
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesThis role includes a blend of
monitoring and
incident management tasks:
Monitoring Responsibilities- Review and analyze system alerts that may lead to incidents
- Triaging alerts to determine severity and potential business impact
- Mitigate potential issues by contacting appropriate stakeholders
Incident Management Responsibilities- Coordinate bridge lines for active incidents
- Monitor outage calls related to impacted applications
- Communicate through channels such as:
- WebEx chats
- Email
- Bridge line communications
