Job Summary The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of circuit migration projects for enterprise and carrier customers. This role serves as the primary interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and third-party carriers to secure approvals, manage schedules, mitigate risk, and ensure successful migration of network circuits with minimal service disruption.
The PM drives project governance, customer communications, and cross-functional alignment to enable engineers to safely and efficiently perform circuit migrations in live production environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Carrier Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers and carrier partners throughout the circuit migration lifecycle
Coordinate and obtain customer approvals for maintenance windows, migration plans, and change management activities
Engage incumbent and new carriers to align on circuit readiness, LOA/CFA requirements, turn-up schedules, and demarcation details
Facilitate technical and operational discussions between customers, carriers, and engineering teams Project Planning & Execution
Develop and manage detailed project plans, migration schedules, and cutover runbooks
Track dependencies, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent migration projects
Coordinate pre-migration validation activities, including circuit testing, MOP reviews, and readiness confirmations
Ensure all approvals, documentation, and prerequisites are in place prior to engineer execution Engineering Enablement
Serve as the coordination layer enabling field and network engineers to execute migrations efficiently
Schedule and manage engineering resources for migration windows and after-hours maintenance events
Ensure engineers have approved MOPs, escalation contacts, rollback plans, and customer authorization
Support engineers during live migrations, including bridge management and real-time customer updates Risk, Change & Issue Management
Identify migration risks, service impact concerns, and customer constraints early in the project lifecycle
Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and schedule changes with customer and carrier approval
Lead troubleshooting, escalation, and vendor engagement during migration issues or outages
Drive post-migration validation, issue resolution, and customer sign-off Reporting & Governance
Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers, and change records
Ensure compliance with internal PMO, carrier, and customer change management standards
Conduct post-migration reviews and lessons-learned sessions to improve future execution
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in telecommunications project management or network operations
Strong understanding of telco circuit types (Ethernet, MPLS, DIA, dark fiber, backhaul, etc.)
Experience coordinating with enterprise customers and multiple carrier providers
Familiarity with circuit migration processes, maintenance windows, and change management
Ability to manage complex, time-sensitive projects with minimal service impact
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Experience working with LECs, CLECs, IXCs, and data center providers
Knowledge of network engineering concepts, demarcation points, and testing methodologies
Experience supporting after-hours or weekend migration events Key Skills
