Summary:
The Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, develop scalable solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems. The architect serves as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Solution Design and Implementation:
Lead the design and deployment of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Develop and customize functionalities across various SCM modules, such as Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
Ensure seamless integration of SCM solutions with other enterprise systems, including Oracle Cloud Financials and third-party applications.
Business Process Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
Recommend best practices and process enhancements to optimize supply chain operations.
Project Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and requirements gathering to design, testing, and deployment.
Work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and consultants.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud SCM features, industry trends, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimizations.
Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor s or master s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
Extensive experience in implementing Oracle Cloud SCM modules, with a strong understanding of Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex SCM implementations and global design sessions.
Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies and best practices.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Oracle Cloud technologies and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud certifications related to SCM modules.
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or healthcare.
Familiarity with related Oracle Cloud modules, such as Financials or Human Capital Management.
