SAP Technical Solution Architect with deep expertise in ABAP development and secondary skills in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Clean Core principles, driving technical excellence in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, and a proven track record of delivering complex global engagements.
Key Responsibilities
•    Architectural Strategy & Governance: Define and govern the end-to-end technical architecture strategy for SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
•    Clean Core Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of modern ABAP development frameworks (RAP, CAPM, CDS) strictly aligned with SAP's Clean Core principles. Drive the adoption of Side-by-Side Extensibility over classical In-System modifications.
•    BTP Extensibility & Innovation: Drive the adoption, design, and governance of SAP BTP services for Side-by-Side Extensibility, intelligent process automation, and seamless integration across hybrid landscapes.
•    Technical Standards & Quality: Establish and enforce rigorous technical standards, quality gates, and best practices for global template design and rollout, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
•    Establish technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for global template rollouts.
•    Integration and Landscape Design: Collaborate intimately with Functional Architects and Enterprise Architects to design robust and scalable integration patterns ensuring seamless, real-time data flow between S/4HANA and external systems (via BTP Integration Suite).
•    Modern Development Thought Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert on modern SAP development approaches, including SAP Fiori, ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and API-first design principles.
•    Collaborate with functional architects to ensure seamless integration between technical and business processes.
•    Provide thought leadership on modern SAP development approaches (e.g., RAP, CAPM, CDS Views, Fiori, APIs).
•    Performance & Compliance: Ensure all technical designs adhere to enterprise security policies, performance SLAs, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., data privacy).
•    Mentorship & Delivery Excellence: Mentor development teams (both onshore and offshore), lead code reviews, code reusability, create reusable code artifacts  and enforce technical quality assurance practices using tools like ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit) to ensure zero-defect deployments.
•    Ability to guide the usage of AI Tools as part of the development framework to bring about efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
•    Over 15+ Years of experience in SAP Development tools and should have lead at least 2-3 engagements as Solution Architect
•    Primary Expertise: SAP ABAP (including Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS Views, RAP, CAPM, Fiori development, API).
•    Secondary Expertise: SAP BTP (Cloud Integration, Business Process Automation, Integration Suite, Workflow, Extensions).
•    Strong understanding of Clean Core concepts and extensibility strategies.
•    Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs for global organizations.
•    Proven ability to design technical architectures for complex landscapes.
•    Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, OData, IDoc, RFC).
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

•    SAP Certified Development Specialist or SAP BTP certification.
•    Experience with public cloud deployments and DevOps practices.
