Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
The Business Process & Application Analyst plays a key role in the development, quality assurance, and ongoing management of business applications built using low-code platforms within the Division of Administrative Services. Working under the direction of the Director of the Operations Analysis Office, this position supports the full application lifecycle, from testing and deployment to user support and continuous improvement. The analyst collaborates with stakeholders to ensure applications are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs, while also identifying opportunities to streamline administrative processes through digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications built on low-code platforms.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Monitor application performance and user feedback to identify bugs, inefficiencies, or areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with the Director of the Operations Analysis Office to implement updates, enhancements, and fixes.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for application workflows, support procedures, and user guides.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Analyze administrative processes and recommend improvements through automation or digital tools.
- Support user onboarding and training, ensuring smooth adoption of new applications.
- Ensure applications comply with internal standards, accessibility requirements, and data integrity policies
Use of AI Tools:
The successful candidate is expected to proactively leverage AI tools (such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to enhance productivity and output. This includes using AI to support tasks such as:
- Drafting and refining documentation (e.g., SOPs, user guides)
- Assisting with application testing and code generation in low-code environments
- Supporting project management and task organization
- Brainstorming and improving business process solutions
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows is highly valued, and a willingness to continuously explore and adopt AI tools is essential to success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in application support, quality assurance, or business systems analysis.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to document processes and translate business needs into functional requirements.
- Understanding of accessibility and usability standards.
- Experience using AI tools to support documentation, testing, or process improvement is a plus.
Education & Experience:
A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Public Administration) is preferred but not required.
