Summary

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Python Automation Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Plano, TX.
Responsibilities

Design crosscloud and onprem solutions for security, compliance, and analytics

Build automation for control monitoring, evidence collection, and remediation across environments

Develop production code in Python and Go; contribute to Java components when needed

Implement policyascode guardrails in build and release pipelines
Orchestrate workflows with Kubernetes and workflow services such as Step Functions

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and related tooling

Skills Required

5 years of software engineering experience

Handson system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Proficiency in Python and backend and automation use cases

Experience with CI/CD and secure development practices

Practical experience on Azure and AWS, plus ability to build on onprem platforms

Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized workloads

Experience with build pipelines and tooling such as Jenkins

Ability to create analytics from telemetry (metrics, logs, traces) and build dashboards

Understanding of audit, compliance, and security controls in regulated environments

Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Step Functions) or equivalents

Effective collaboration and communication in agile teams
