Work Location: Hybrid preferred, but open to Remote (Fully remote candidates must demonstrate exceptional technical depth and communication capability due to the collaborative nature of the role)

Contract Duration: 3-4+ months

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID to support an environment hardening and standardization initiative.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in multi-tenant settings, enjoys building repeatable processes, and can balance both execution and documentation at an expert level.

You will assess current Microsoft 365 environments, establish hardening baselines, and create scalable standards and procedures that can be applied across multiple clients.

This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering position, not a strategy only role.

What You Will Do:

Develop and implement security hardening standards and configuration baselines for Intune and Entra ID across multiple environments

Design repeatable, multi-tenant friendly configuration standards and deployment procedures

Create detailed runbooks, documentation, templates, and operating procedures for internal teams

Conduct engineering working sessions and train team members on newly established standards and operational processes

Lead technical discussions, drive deliverables, and serve as the subject matter expert for Intune and Entra ID best practices

Requirements

Required Experience

Senior-level experience implementing and managing Microsoft Intune and Entra ID at scale

Proven ability to build and maintain standardized policies, configuration frameworks, and deployment procedures

Experience aligning environments with compliance or regulatory needs such as CMMC, HIPAA, FINRA, and other commercial requirements

Strong communication skills including the ability to lead sessions, teach others, and produce clear documentation

Ability to work independently and execute hands-on engineering tasks with minimal oversight
