ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to help drive developer efficiency and accelerate decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will build scalable data lake solutions, gather and analyze metrics to support tooling investments, and consolidate data from multiple sources to enable reporting, insights, and operational excellence. You will work heavily in Python, develop and deploy pipelines, and support cloud migrations while using Snowflake as the primary data store. This is a hands-on engineering position where your work directly enables teams to move faster, make better decisions, and improve overall data maturity.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
This role gives you the opportunity to shape the core data ecosystem used by developers and stakeholders across the company. You will evaluate and recommend tools, build end-to-end data lake solutions, create cross-system data integrations, and develop reports that influence strategic decisions. You'll leverage advanced Python development, modern data engineering frameworks, and cloud technologies to build reliable, scalable pipelines. You will also lead initiatives to migrate data workflows to the cloud and optimize Snowflake implementations, playing a key role in improving data accessibility and engineering productivity.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (top 3 must haves)

5 10 Years of Data Engineering Experience
Proven background building scalable data solutions, integrating data sources, and supporting pipeline development in production environments.

Advanced Python & Modern Data Tooling Expertise

Deep proficiency with Python, including Pandas, Polars, NumPy, and API development.

Strong experience using dbt to build modular, version-controlled, and testable SQL transformation layers.

ETL/ELT Pipeline Development & SQL Optimization

Expertise designing and maintaining robust, idempotent pipelines using Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

Advanced SQL proficiency: complex queries, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning in Snowflake (or BigQuery/Redshift).
NICE TO HAVES

Experience with BI/Reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.).

Hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including services like S3, Lambda, Glue, Data Factory, Synapse, or BigQuery.
